Marine Asia Limited (“Marine Asia”) is a Hong Kong based Marina Consultancy and Construction company founded by the current director, Lawrence Chow – a local marine industry professional with over 17 years of experience and a passion for both land and water-based designs ranging from boats, floating structures, marinas and high-tech buildings.

Marine Asia was established with the goal of contributing to helping improve the marina infrastructure, facilities, and capabilities of the local Hong Kong waters by utilizing specialized knowledge and design expertise to provide high-end, quality solutions and products for new and existing marina projects alike.

As the exclusive distributor in Hong Kong and Macau for Poralu Marine – a global leader in marina design and marine grade products – Marine Asia aims to develop the waterfront in a responsible and sustainable way through collaborating with only the most knowledgeable and dependable industry experts to devise innovative design solutions that suit the specific needs of each project.

1968: Beginning of the family business. Lake Nantua, France.
1984: Poralu Marine is established. Production and sale of nautical equipment.
1988: Development Growth. First major European boat shows, and projects completed.
2001: International Expansion. Canadian production plant opens
2002 – Today: Expansion of products and services and turnkey solutions.
2009: Diversification of services. New product designs for marine and land use projects.
